Monica da Silva and Chad Alger are a Brazilian-American duo whose self-coined Indie Nova genre beautifully showcases the magic that happens when Indie Pop and Bossa Nova come together to tell a story. Their original songs have been featured in the movie Lady Bird, in the Netflix film The Last Summer, and in a campaign for Tory Burch. Accompanied by Chad on guitar, Monica sings in English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish, and also plays the flute and keyboard. The duo performs originals and popular covers that they have revamped in their signature style.
